  • We follow the laws and rules in Denmark and the EU.

  • This is also the condition for costumers from countries outside of the EU.

Payment

  • Payments from credit card are going through Stripe.

  • No fees are charged for credit cards.

  • If you pay by bank transfer, you are not protected by the scheme granting

Shipping

Shipping and handling

  • All of the parcels will be dispatched from Denmark, Europe.

  • We use Coolrunner, Post Nord, DHL, or Blue Water Shipping. When the parcel leaves Denmark the postal company may use another local postal company to carry the parcel the rest of the way. In Europe, we prefer to use Coolrunner.

  • Please allow extra time for transportation when ordering from manufacturers and third part brands.

  • When ordering from outside of the EU the costumer must pay import taxes due to the rules and regulations from the costumer´s country.

  • We prefer to use delivery to your private address. In Denmark,  some postal companies only deliver big parcels to post boxes near your home. This means big parcels may be delivered to a post box near your home.

Cancellation Rights

  • As a consumer, when you buy from us, you have a 14-day cooling-off period, in which you have the right to cancel the purchase.  

 

  • This cooling-off period expires 14 days after the day on which you received your goods. If you have ordered several items in the same purchase, and they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you received the last item.

 

  • If the purchase consists of several consignments or parts, the right to cancel will lapse 14 days after the day you receive the last consignment or the last part.

 

  • The period means that you have 14 days after receiving the goods to let us know that you want to cancel the purchase. You can send an e-mail to ehsshieldcom@gmail.com or make use of the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the end of the terms of business. 

  • You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the goods, unless you inform us at the same time. 

 

  • Cancelling part of the purchase If you are going to cancel parts of your purchased items

    you have 14 days after receiving the goods to let us know that you want to cancel the purchase. You can send an e-mail to ehsshieldcom@gmail.com or make use of the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the end of the terms of business. 

 

  • If you have bought more than one item from us, you may return one or several items, even if they were bought in a single order. 

  • Please note that freight charges will not be refunded if you cancel part of your purchase. 

 

  • Returning the goods 

  • When you have informed us that you are cancelling your purchase, you have 14 days in which to return the goods to us. 

  • You yourself must pay for returning the package, and you will be liable if it is damaged during transport. 

 

  • Some goods cannot be returned by normal post. This applies to: metal mesh and heavy metal items.

  • No right to cancellation
    The following agreements cannot be cancelled: 

Deliveries of goods which are made to your specifications or which are of a clearly personal nature.

 

  • Cancellation rights for business purchases

  • If you order special ordered products not listed in the webshop from other manufacturers or sellers (Lessemf or Leblok) through Ehsshield these products cannot be cancelled. Ordered paint from Leblok cannot be cancelled.

 

  • The state of the article when you return it

  • If the value of the article is reduced, and the reason is that you have used it in any way beyond what was necessary to check the type and properties of the article and how it works, then only part of the purchase sum can be refunded to you. The amount that can be refunded depends on the saleable value of the article, and in certain cases this may mean that only the freight charges can be refunded. 

 

    • We recommend that you return the article in its original packaging.

    • If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the value of the article.)

 

 

  • Refund of the purchase sum 

  • If you cancel a purchase, you will get your money back. If the value of the article is reduced, we will deduct the amount you are liable for. 

  • We refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (which does not apply, however, to extra delivery costs if you have chosen a form of delivery other than the cheapest standard form of delivery which we offer), not later than 14 days from the day when we have received your notification that you want to cancel the agreement. 

  • We will return the money by the same means of payment which you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

  • We may hold back the payment until we have received the article, unless you send documentation that you have returned it.

Complaints

What to do when having a complaint?

When you trade with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies.

This means that you have a right to complain within 24 months.

You must complain within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered a defect. If you complain within two months after the defect has been discovered, it will always be regarded as within a reasonable time. 

  • If an item is broken Ehsshield will decide if the item must be returned or not. 

  • Please do not return a broken item before getting in contact with Ehsshield. 

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your freight costs (within reason). The article must always be retuned in suitable packaging. Remember also to obtain a receipt for dispatch, so that we can pay back your freight costs.

  • When receiving the parcel the first thing you should do is to check the condition of the parcel from the outside of the parcel. Then you should check the inside and see if there´s anything broken. If there is anything broken you should both contact the shipping company and Ehsshield. You should contact the shipping company right away. It´s important that you contact both. Then you should take pictures of the broken item and the parcel. It´s easier to make a complaint to the shipping company when both the costumer and the seller makes contact. Ehsshield will make the final complaint to the shipping company.

What can I expect of the fabric and clothing?

  • Please notice that silver and other metals will decrease in time. This is not a complaint.

  • The amount of silver and other metals will decrease especially when getting in contact with liquids, sweat, acids, food, dirt, fingerprints, heat, the sun, rain, and the weather in general, plus many other factors.

  • The silver and other metals will change its colours especially when getting in contact with the above mentioned reasons.

  • You can see how to wash the fabrics and clothes in the section for fabrics info (EMR Shielding fabric. Info). The most important thing is that you notice to treat the fabrics and clothing with care. Wash it with low temperature (30 degrees). Washing with neutral detergent like wool washing powder. Wash gently, no scrubbing, and no spin dry. Ironing is not recommended.
